We have come to the end of the journey. I have conceded the election and offered my congratulations to Desmon Yancy. There were only about 500 votes between us despite Desmon’s vast advantage in financial resources and political establishment support. My head is high and my heart full of gratitude for everyone who supported me. Now, we must move forward. I will support Desmon in every way possible. I hope you will support him, too.  We are all in this TOGETHER. Here’s to one 5th Ward - diverse, united, and strong!
